Type their name and watch it become a blanket. What you see is what we knit, stitch for stitch, on both sides.
The blanket
One hundred percent organic cotton and nothing else. It is knitted double sided in two colours, so there is no wrong side: turn it over and the same name appears with the colours reversed. One name, one blanket, made once.
Making and delivery
We do not keep blankets. We keep yarn. Yours is knitted after you order and is at the door within three weeks, yours or theirs. The date above is the date that goes on your order.
Gift wrap
It arrives in a rigid keepsake box with tissue, a certificate bearing the name, a care card and your message. The price stays between us.
The date, in writing
You get a date when you order. We keep it, or we refund your delivery. We would rather be held to it.
Care
The care card explains how to wash it, store it between children and mend a pulled stitch. We wrote it assuming you will still have it in thirty years.
The name is not on the blanket.
It is the blanket.
Embroidery is added to a blanket that already existed. Ours does not exist until you tell us who it is for. There was never a blank one.
The box is half the gift.
Nobody ever kept a padded envelope. This box is built to be kept, because the blanket will need somewhere to wait between children.
